Franck Guérin made documentary films and feature films.


He directed documentaries about various topics for the tv, but focussed on criminal madness
with two films « Francis Heaulme, the blood road » and « Sagawa, Japanese cannibal ».
He also wrote and directed several short movies which were singled out in many festivals
as « Some Days Left » with Marion Cotillard, Yann Peira and Stéphan Guérin-Tillié,
« Absence » with Manuel Blanc & Lei Dinety, « Pest» with Jean-François Stévenin.

His first long feature film « A SUMMER DAY» with Catherine Mouchet, Baptiste Bertin and Jean-François Stévenin
was selected in many international film festivals (Taipei, Rotterdam, Seattle, Sao Paulo…)
and won awards as International Critic Prize FIPRESCI) Mannheim-Heidelberg (Deutschland),
Best First Feature Namur Film Festival (Belgium), Best European Movie Avignon/New-York Film Festival (France/USA),
and the Palm First Film "Prix Marcel Jullian" at the Palms 2007 of Radio and Television in Senate (France).

Franck Guérin is actually preparing two new feature film
« PERDRE LE NORD » production in process and « ONE O ONE ».
